If they don't subsidize the DA like they do for boys why would anyone do it? Plus banning high school will cut deeply into the pool of possible top players.

The DA will not happen in Oregon. They might start a team but they will not get enough talent to get over the hump. Too expensive and high school ball is important to enough people. That plus the Timbers teams, FCP, and crossfire United, the talent will be too far spread out.

When the ECNL folks result to comparing results to local results, then they have failed. Please people, at least compare to Boise or Utah. Of which, you compare weakly.

If you talk to national team coaches they say one of the big problems in the US is that club and parent egos keep kids from playing up to get pushed to play at higher levels. Certain clubs would rather win than put kids where they belong developmentally.
