Mr. No Boner, just left the hotel with your wife, and your brothers and your wives kid is all set to go back to CCC for a third year ( first year was tough I heard). She wanted to go to a better school but she was worried about how your mental stability was doing since AA. You are doing everything top let your daughter grow independent. CCC, head cook at Burgerville, home at night to watch out for you, visit her real Dad and allow you to see her in uniform. As you know staying in Oregon and growing up to be just like you, is very important to you. Learning how to be narrow minded, opinionated and a complete ass will get her far in life. The real world is full of adventure and to those who convert opportunities into positive experiences. Being able to be close to family helps. Getting an education and doing what you enjoy and experience different things better. School ratings are very biased, it's up to the student to get the most out her time in school no matter where they go. Getting an education and being a good person is better than saying you graduated from a name brand school and not enjoying the time doing it cause daddy tried to go there.

Looks like mertz has set up ID camps in Chicago, Los Angeles, etc.
If you can't get top recruits in your own back yard to commit to Oregon you have some serious issues.

Mertz has plenty of recruits. In fact, she has too many. If I were a player Oregon bound before Mertz's contract is up (as she will undoubtedly be fired) then I would look elsewhere. Icing on the cake, she is a crappy coach. It is a lose - lose.

The first question is: is your dd Pac 12 material? I know a lot of girls who want to go to Oregon or Oregon State or Washington or ... but that doesn't mean it can happen. Unless you mean just going to the school to be a student. A lot of kids consider themselves a duck just by going to school there. Pac 12 coaches get hundreds of letter and emails every week from kids who want to go there. All for a class that has 6-7 recruits.

Her contract will be up the end of next year. I get what you are saying about local wanting to be a duck. There is a lot that goes into it though. For example, do you want a quality coach who actually coaches or a psychopath that likes to feel like a demigod? Do you want to be on a roster of 30+ or one where someone getting screwed is not mandatory? Does DD endear herself well to the lesbian class or could she quickly become a throwaway?

Last year's sophomore class started with 11 and has 3 remaining from the original players. Transferring is expensive and stressful. Do your homework. Talk to parents away from the coach.

I didn't realize 3 of the transfers out were Oregon girls. Doesn't sound good.
