Wow! What an incredible finish.

Down to PKs and both teams had players miss. A couple of good saves by the GKs...a couple of lucky bounces off the posts.....and it came down the GK's....mano a mano.

Turns out our GK was just a bit better than their GK.

What a game. My heart was pounding that whole PK round. Great way to finish a 'do or die' type game.

Oregon TS is reserved for talking about youth girls soccer. Granted, girls soccer is like underwater soccer... And youth girls soccer, well, is like soccer in maple syrup. But heaven forbid you post something about men's MLS playoff game with one of the most dramatic, incredible finishes in the history of the league. Come on. What are you thinking?

On tv, I saw people playing bog soccer in some Scandinavian country. Probably worse than soccer in syrup. Looked like a hell of a workout.

Yes, incredible finish, my emotions hit peaks and valleys multiple times last night.

What was your take on the officiating? Seems to me that KC got away with way too many deliberate fouls. Anytime the Timbers were on a break and got behind a defender, there was a shoulder grab, shirt pull, trip, etc. Really killed the momentum of the game. Anytime you see a foul like that in the EPL it's an auto yellow, not last night.

Sorry dude. My son was watching it and was very into it. My daughter was as well, but not as into it as my son. Even my wife, who hardly watches sports, knew what was going on. I can't help it if my work schedule had me finally arriving home at 9:45 last night after a grueling day and I didn't have the mental energy to watch the final couple of PKs. Sounds like an awesome game. Glad the Timbers won. My son was very happy. I'm not into MSL soccer so much, so I'm not over the top about it.

I noticed that too. I hear them called professional fouls by the EPL commentators, but they usually get a yellow.

Love that our Timbers played with class! KC is a sorry excuse of a team! There should have been a lot more yellows given out than there were...and the ref was an idiot for letting it nearly come to a brawl at one point! We played with class...and our Timbers deserve that W! Great game, all the way down to Kwarasey's PK and save to move on to the next round! Well done, boys!!
