Your RPI rating last year was 154 and you did not make the ncaa playoffs.
There should be NO down years in recruiting. You recruited poorly. Time for a change.
Candidates:
Twila Kaufman at UC Davis. She has the Aggies playing their best ball ever.
Lauren Hansen at San Jose state. They made ncaa's .....hasn't happened in awhile.

Which should tell us something about Oregon soccer.

That said, at the end of the day the coach has much to do with the success or failure of the program. Whether it is recruiting, usage of players, comradeship, or instruction it all comes down to the coaching staff.

As they put it a good coach puts players in the best positions to succeed and also makes them all feel like they are contributing. Do the Oregon coaches do that?

Everyone should be disappointed to see anyone struggle. UofP has had a couple of difficult years. The girls and coaches need a good season for morale and themselves I would bet. Hope this year on the Bluff is a magic one and the program gets back to there winning ways!! Go Pilots!
