I think U of P is a great catch for some girls but I don't think it is what it used to be; ie a powerhouse. I also don't think it is a top 25 recruiting class. I can believe 5 for the West Coast conference which should tell you something as it isn't a power conference.

UP was only ever a big name for a very few years when they happened to have the world's best players going to school there. Before and since they are what they will always be. A mid-pack D1 program that uses mostly local talent to get the job done.

I would disagree with this. They were good from about 2000 or before through 2012. That is a pretty good run. Lets hope this new crop brings the Team back to the forefront.

The program was respected, with heavy emphasis on was. Hasn't been for a few seasons. Since games aren't played in the past, but the present, it's a problem.

Didn't even come close to winning the MLS league title. Sure, they got hot at the end and won the league cup, but that's like a 3rd tier competition after the league and US Open Cup.

A new class of players will not make a difference. Dinosaurs are coaching the team like its 1989 and are consistently getting out coaches by younger coaches that are coaching the game as its played currently.
