Why doesn't anybody talk about Thorns Academy any more? It was supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread. Probably because the parents of the rec players on the teams can't figure out how to work TS.

There is not much talk about ECNL either except people arguing about real cost, parent travel, and whether a player would have gotten an offer from PSU or Concordia without ECNL.
Maybe the parents of rec players have better things to do with their time. Learning to work TS can be entertaining, but it is not really a "must have" skill set.Comment
