-Uniforms/training kits/bags
-Tournament/showcase entry fee's (NWCL is the one that is included)
-Team/coach/manager costs to any games further than salem
-Travel (flights, hotels, rentals, ect)

So the cost will range quite a bit depending on if you plan on just sending your child by themselves to away games or if you plan on going with them.

It also varies a lot with how many out of town games your kid goes to. Every kid wants to play in the Portland based games and the games in Seattle, those are cheap. And every kid wants to play at the showcase games. But try getting kids to travel to Utah or Boise or to NorCal for league games. All of those parents who try to claim ECNL isn't all that expensive suddenly have their kids trying to not go to those games. $800 - $1000 for two games with nary a college coach.

We will travel to 3 showcase events, 1 trip to CO, Boise, and Seattle. We have budgeted $500/month for 10 months and that will cover players cost (meals, airfare, lodging, and rental car) also covers cost for 2 coaches, manager and chaperone expenses.

That sucks. Top 18 players travel, you don't have a choice. If you sit out because you want then you still have to pay your share
