how will things change with the ECNL girls not being able to play for their high schools this coming high school season?

I would think that helps the schools not in Portland, west and south salem, should do well again I think.

Predictions?

My predictions:

1. The ball will be out of bounds more than inbounds.
2. Players will dribble into pressure an average of 112 times per game.
3. Each game will have a minimum of 57 headers.
4. 99% of the time when a GK gets the ball he/she will bang it as far as he/she can. Bowling the ball is unheard of.
5. 99% of the free kicks 35 yds and out will be used to dump into the box.
6. 99% of goalkicks will be sent as far as humanly possible to avoid playing out of the back.
7. There will be at least 1 basketball player playing in goal in each league.
8. When a defender has the ball facing their own goal - 99% of them will NOT play it back to the GK, most will turn into pressure or kick it out of bounds.
9. 90% of all HS Coaches ruin players in the 75 days they have them.
10. 100% of players are better at negotiating balls in the air because that is where the ball is all the time.

100% of all balls hit by defenders in their defensive side of the field will be whacked as hard as possible in the general direction of the other team's goal. General direction mind you.

At least with CU you can play HS but I think most are not. Sherwood wins title this year not even close

I thought ecnl players could play HS soccer too, if they want. Are they really not allowed?

For real? Because truthfully, that will change what my daughter does. I know all the BS about how HS soccer sucks, but isn't that the fun of being and athlete in hs? Being able to play for your school? Are we just going to suck the life out of everything???

I think you need to have a long talk with her. It's either HS or ECNL.
