Really ?
Top Drawer soccer continues to be the last source of thoughtful information about most everything soccer. Several times the author references that (first) high school soccer and then club soccer has been the development model in the U.S. High school soccer hasn't been the development model for at least 25 years. In fact, most top players fondly remember high school soccer with disgust. It has been club soccer in conjunction with ODP in the past the has been the development model. ENCL should be the dominant force now given the clubs affiliated with it.

LMFAO!!! You fools are desperate! You will say anything to argue in vain against the ECNL. Now it's top soccer. LOL!!! Keep posting. It's pure entertainment.
Oh.... I can't wait for the "it's Oregon ECNL that suck" and the competition teams play is "lousy". Come on Cony.... Get posting!
This will be fun. LMFAO

Oh come on!! Where are the anonymous Oregon experts to post about how the ECNL is crummy, crummy competition, Oregon ECNL is crummy, no good players or teams in the ECNL, the ECNL makes little DDs all over the country superstars.... And now USWNT!!! It also costs millions a year and top players don't participate because they are busy in their local leagues competing against equivalent competition. Did I miss anything? Oh yea..... The Thorns academy is the future.

There are many avenues to advance through Soccer. Whether playing on an independent team, with a large or small club, with ODP or ECNL. No one path is the only path, and no one path guarantees results.
The only people who will claim a certain path is the "only" path have a vested interest in that path. They are trying to sell you something.
