It's 5A Soccer which is really like asking us to compare a JV team versus Varsity team. (5A vs 6A)
Bottom line in a 6 class system in a tiny state like Oregon guess what an all Hispanic/school team may be relevant in smaller classifications where other Schools with these tiny enrollments below 1000 kids or less are the norm.
Guess what most small schools can't draw from the student body to and have 400+ Hispanic boys who love to play the (non american) sport of Soccer. Curious what are the American Football teams like at those schools?
At the 6A level the big dogs in Soccer are also championship contenders in American Football.
It's called balance and superior enrollment/coaching/talent.
At least with so many ridiculous levels of competition they tiny schools get a medal and claims they are the best team among a whopping 32 teams. Epic.
Who are the top players on the Timbers Academy teams?
Hispanics make up 12% of the Oregon population and whites make up 77%. Take a look at the Census data yourself.
Everyone will tell you that High School soccer is fun, but is no where near the level of club or academy so it is pretty stupid that you are even comparing 6A vs. 5A for soccer.

I think you may be confusing hard work with entitlement.
Oregonians Hurtado, Mwanga, Harden, Barrett, B. Rowe are all making bank today with multiple years as pros in the MLS. White boys and african-americans.
Ryan Cochrane & Chris Brown also had careers in the MLS. (2 more anglos) But that's about it.
In two years have a look at the Timbers Academy Roster (current u16) and see how many hispanics stick and don't get replaced. By the age of 16 these young men hit the ceiling of Soccer and more importantly physical Development. With Rubio being the lone exception so far. Being a dominant club player from ages 8 to 15 is akin being the big kid on the block, then the pack catches and passes them.
At least that's what Oregon history has been to date.
Maybe it will change.

Q2: That's why no Hispanics are professional MLS players from Oregon. Fair point.
Q3: Everyone will tell that since the Timbers Academy has gutted the top 40+ club players at the HS ages from the Club ranks, HS soccer and Club soccer have never looked so similar.
There is no comparison between 6A & 5A Soccer, they should actually blended together in to one classification, but they Woodburn and Hood River would not get a medal.
So be it.

Assuming you are knucklehead homophobe now you're going to add racism to the mix as well?
Racism? I said soccer is the #1 sport for Hispanics and the top Hispanic athletes turn to soccer.

What if you found out the 6A state triple jump champion also chose Soccer over Football in the last 5 years and played D1 soccer instead of American Football.
What if you found out the last 3 all-state running backs at Camas HS all played college soccer instead of Football.
These are just a handful of examples of the best white boy athletes from the area that have chosen to play Soccer over american football.
Doesn't make American Football a lessor sport because they can't get these studs to commit to playing American Football. People make different choices for their own reasons.
The allure of being a robotic, militaristic, concussion suffering tool isn't attractive enough for some of the top athletes. We get it.

Actually the world's most popular sport that does attract and keep the best athletes is called Football and they even have World Cup championship every 4 years. It's held on planet earth and yes the United States does it's best to qualify for the World Championship.
The stars in this true football have more world recognition and payroll than any NFL player in history.

Just have a pair and admit you were being a tool for fun, and you realized you went to far…it has happened to others, no one is going to come hunt you down.
I assume you have never played high level soccer if you think it is a softer sport than American Football. With soccer people don't put on 80 pounds of pads to protect them in case they fall hard…
But that might explain your cognitive issues with all the micro bumps and near concussions that most non-skilled positions in football pick up.
Now I will let you return to your sad pathetic homophobic existence. You better take a shower quick, because your "friends" might be coming home soon.

This is actually an awesome thread! Even though we have a loser, homophobe, racist keeping it going, it's really nice not talking about ECNL and Thorns for once. Thank you racist, homophobe, loser. You are swell.
