What are they smoking in Vantucky?

    Why even advertise "Tier 1"?

    http://www.washingtontimbers.com/doc...w%20032915.pdf

    1) Who would ever pay $2250 to play soccer at WT_FC?
    2) Tier 1 teams "play in the top brackets of the most elite tournaments in the country" but... they have to play in "Clash at the Border (mandatory)"
    3) They don't offer anything at Tier 1 that you can't get for only $2000 at the ECNL clubs.

This is a nice change... Finally they communicate what you get for each level.
Thanks for the info. That link gives some great info.

Yep. You pay more this year for less than you got last year. It's a great deal. Except that the other clubs in Vancouver are a better deal.

WashT is planning on only 49 teams this year, down from 76 just two years ago. Tell me kids aren't leaving the club in huge numbers. No "premier" level girls teams above U12. Not one. Most of the best boys older than U14 have left also. It's a sad sight at Harmony these days.

Plan is 49, but not sure if they will even get that. SC looks like they are picking up a few. And I heard a B team folded. Coach has destroyed two teams, but guess what. They gave him another team. Big changes over there--my arse.

Way too funny. Their grand plan didn't survive even a tiny bit of scrutiny.

They currently have no Tier 1 teams, they added that so they had that option if any age groups developed a group that could fall into that catagory. I expect with the new DOC for them to completley change their tier system over the next few years. But there are no teams over there paying this amount. Good trolling though

And never will have. That market niche is much better filled by the real elite clubs. Not even sure WT-FC eve has more than 1 or 2 Tier 2 teams at present.

The G99 reds were suppose to be the first Tier 1 team this year. Obviously didn't happen.
