Capital FC Timbers 99 Red won the FWRL last weekend. The final gams Sunday featured them with a 4-1 record facing the Seattle Sounders Academy team with a 5-0 record. CFC pulled off a 3-0 win to win the regional league and secure a spot at Far West Regionals in June.

Need to be careful not to win Oregon state cup now. Lot easier draw as FWRL winner (MT, CO, NM) than as OR winner (CAS, HI, Desert FWRL). And you don't get to choose. If you win state cup you represent OR and Sounders get the NW FWRL spot.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

Good for them. Regionals is a great experience. It's a true regional tourney as you have to win to get there, vs. just paying your way. I think they are in Boise, which is nice if true. I would drive there if I were going. Driving to Boise takes a while, but it gives you a lot more flexibility on leaving, although I hope they make it all the way to the finals.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
