I've been reading these Forums for a couple of years now. I have seen little of that. I have seen a sick obsession by a few posters who stalk this team. You're one of them.

This forum pretends to want the best to compete outside Oregon. This team is it and you disgusting people still attack them. You only prove your goal is not what's best for soccer. Instead it's about attacking anything non Timbers.

I've been reading these Forums for a couple of years now. I have seen little of that. I have seen a sick obsession by a few posters who stalk this team. You're one of them.

Oh to the contrary... The reputation of the onyx parents was definitely earned. After every game they would either trumpet or have some excuse about how everyone wasn't available, or they didn't take it seriously, or whatever...they were also legend that anytime Onyx was mentioned in a forum like this they would reply 3-4times within 5 minutes.

The strangest part was it was always like your tone...we are the best truly super human, but nobody likes us and we are being persecuted because no cares about the health of soccer. The victim story gets old really fast...

You all serious have problems to be so critical of 16 year old girls who work incredibly hard, make lots of sacrifices, miss out on lots of traditional high school events due to practice schedules and travel - all to play a game at the high level they have earned. None of them are playing for parents at this point, they are old enough to make their decisions. They would not achieve the success they have if it were not for their own hard work and dedication. They all love the game and work very hard every time they step out on the field. Sometimes they get the win, other times they don't - that's life.

Shame on all of you adults who wish them less than success.

I will tell you how I felt. Played one of the top teams in the country and lost 3-2. Very competitive game. Glad we have the opportunity to play against teams like Crossfire Premier.

Well the reality is they lost a game. All the players that are currently playing were there, no one cried, no one made excuses and the girls had a great evening, got up this morning and played again. It is a normal group of girls and a normal weekend of soccer. I would hope at this level they would be challenged, that is kind of the point of doing it. If one or two people have been on this board in the past, that is literally one or two people that got excited or thought they needed to defend their kid, that is it. And here is a news flash. THEY WILL LOSE AGAIN, And they will react the same way, get up the next day or the next week and play again. They are a great group of girls, not super human, just normal teenage girls and if you don't respect them, I don't think those kids really care one way or another, they will keep playing soccer.

No one is talking about the players, everyone is talking about the asshat parents. Certainly hope the kids aren't the ones posting. It's the Onyx parents who laid claim to the biggest bunch of arsewipes long ago. And it continues today.

So you are just talking about me, I posted the last post you are referring to. So apparently I am an "asshat!" Good to know! How do you think I know how well they handled yesterday if I wasn't a parent? And how many of us do you actually know? Just normal parents, supporting their kids. And I was speaking for the parents too, no one was making excuses. Crossfire Premier U16 is a great team and it was a really good game, I enjoyed watching my daughter play. I wish you could of been there to see us really boring parents handle a loss really well. But that would of not fit in with your view of the world so it would not of been very much fun for you.

And why is it we cannot be proud of our kids or give information about games that only we were at? Not sure why that makes us asshats? Maybe being on the forum makes me one, but then it makes you one too....
