No team has lost 7-0 in ECNL play. Our U18 team did lose to Crossfire in NWCL play 7-0 with no subs, forwards playing defenders and a keeper playing up. Not making excuses but saying it is ridiculous is a bit much as 13 of these girls will play next year in college and 9 went D1. They will be just fine.Comment

I think you took one sentence out of context. I didn't say that the team losing 7-0 was ridiculous, rather that calling the Thorns losers because they came in 4th in FWRL is ridiculous. Teams lose sometimes and the poster was being idiotic. My oldest daughter plays D1 now and has played many times on teams where they got stomped. A team getting stomped has zero to do with the success of the individuals. Sadly, some people on this board will have nothing to brag or talk smack about after youth soccer.
