That's a great question and one I asked myself if I were in their shoes. First of all an affiliation with the state youth soccer association. The semi-pro league, and I'm not even sure it's that has limited exposure to anybody, let alone college coaching. Staying at the Timbers, as the state runners up carries alot of clout and this is where D1 coaches troll around. Now they've left where coaches can find them.

I also looked at what they have to offer and wasn't sure what it had to offer except coaching personalities. Honestly, it looks like an ego trip at this point, or until they have five years under there belt and actually have something to stand on other than ONE mens open title. I've won mens open 5-6 times when I played and it no thing. IF a team is halfway organized they have a great chance of winning it.

I wish those parents well, and aren't left chasing their money down a rabbit hole, and wasting particularly important years to a narcissist.

The few other parents on that particular team are the proverbial, "smartest guys in the room," and they'll reap what they sow.
