At least they don't call EVERY team "Timbers" like they were the MLS team... How long before the Alliance breaks down anyway? I've heard that WashT is looking to jump ship this year.

Autonomy to do what they want without outside interference. Timbers bring nothing to the table to actually help a club operate better but do impose a whole slew of conditions that take money and time to satisfy. Better to cut ties and chart their own course.
