THUSC was denied twice. ECNL was awarded to THUSC. THUSC and CO are working together on ECNL. It's time for you to go back to the ECNL $10,000,000 threads and post your misinformed stupid there.

Not Surprising

So do you believe anything Tom or Fraser tell you? There is no way THUSC wanted to combine. They only did it because there was no other way they would get ECNL. I suspect it was pretty dang clear to Tom that if he had waited another year it would be too late. Folks would have moved on. His choice of partners wasn't about bringing more talent to the table. It was entirely about money. I think what they have done is a classic example of why not to have programs like ECNL run through a club as opposed to run outside of clubs. CO didn't bring in any new coaches, they didn't upgrade facilities. Really what they have asked people to do, especially those who were not already THUSC members is ignore that it is just THUSC repackaged with an extra practice day and a new patch for your sleeve.

Obviously folks don't seem to care whether the leagues unite, but it was a rare opportunity for ECNL and ECNL Oregon if they could have pushed the leagues together. Then they would be able to argue they have brought something new to the table.

THUSC couldn't get into the ECNL based on the quality of their program and LOSC had to allow them to join as a friendly gesture.
