You do realize that you are laughing at YOURSELF don't you? He didn't have a team between the two that could have aged to 18.....FOOL

Like most DOC, Tom chooses to coach the best teams. He is not going to coach a team that is not the best in the club. Have you ever seen a DOC take a crappy team and move them to the top of the league? Most players do not leave teams with good records.

First that was not the point of comment that I was responding to. The poster was implying that TA's recruiting and coaching did not result in a team getting to 18's between the two and I was pointing out that he did not have the opportunity.

We all know that DOC's like to take over the better U12 teams and guide them to the next level. Is that a bad thing for those players or are you resentful of their success? In Tom's case he is a quality soccer coach so those players are not missing out on coaching.

Your comment about players leaving good teams is simply not true. Players leave every year for a variety of reasons some having to do with soccer and others having nothing to do with soccer. That is why good coaches are always recruiting to build and sustain the quality of their teams.

Condemning coaches for recruiting is a disservice to the players as those on weaker teams or who have outgrown their coach who do not moving to better teams and coaching opportunities are missing out. You are also saying that players on strong teams should not be allowed to maintain their teams because of natural attrition.

I agree 100% with the comment above: "Great coaches develop & recruit"

The fact that people are so obsessed with THUSC proves they are doing something right.

Or the parents are just a bunch of arrogant goons with no real soccer knowledge.
