Any CP use a different type of medication other than Albuterol to treat exercise induced asthma for their child? Albuterol has a very short life with my son, about 40-45 minutes before he starts coughing/wheezing again during practice and games.

Any CP use a different type of medication other than Albuterol to treat exercise induced asthma for their child? Albuterol has a very short life with my son, about 40-45 minutes before he starts coughing/wheezing again during practice and games.

Consult your medical provider and ask about singulair. It is a once a day pill that helped my kid from having flare ups especially during practice and games.
