    Our coach had a few girls play in the last tournament with us (which we won) and then try out with us too. He talked to each individual child and their parent to discuss whether or not it would be a good fit and to think about trying out elsewhere if he didn't think they'd fit in well.

      my favorite is when you sign up, pay for tryouts, stress through them, dc makes the team, you think life is great and then new kids come in and skip the tryout process.

        Truth is, a strong A team player only needs to make a call to the coach of another competing club. Voila, new kid on the team. No try-outs and no out of pocket fee.

          I hear Copa lost one to a rival but replaced with a couple from Division 2. Now that was real smart !!!!
