You keep making the wrong inference. You imply that ECNL makes the player. Wrong. The players make ECNL. The great ECNL teams are great because they have great players. But not all ECNL teams are great, and not all players on ECNL teams are great. In fact, if you dd isn't a top player, you are wasting a lot of money having her on ECNL.

Only the anti ECNL crowed makes that inference. The ECNL draws top talent. Top talent, training together, playing other top talent improves players and women's soccer. There is nothing complicated here.

What's different about Oregon is the number of people, clubs, and the Timbers fighting against the ECNL. This only PROVES that the Timbers and TA are not in it for youth soccer. The Timbers are about making money. Get them out of youth soccer!

Makes the $10K investment all that less impressive. $10K to say your dd is elite is quite the vane thing to do.
