OPL teams vs OYSA teams

Someone said they had not seen an OYSA team dominate a tournament this summer. Now they have proof. They didn't ask for a list, and I'm not doing ALL the work for them.

As far as Onyx, I couldn't care less. They declined to play a friendly with the Copa girls on more than one occassion. That tells me everything I need to know. I would have loved to have seen what would have been the best matchup of top talent Oregon has to offer. I'm sure it would have been a good battle that either side would have a fighting chance to win. Too bad Onyx is no more. Good luck in ECNL!

Now that's funny. Onyx is ALWAYS looking for a great friendly and it would have been a great match because the Copa team you are referring to is a solid team but they are the one's that refused te Friendly if you don't below TS then go ask your coach

Not their ecnl team (fcp). My dd played them yesterday and I know many of the girls. There were a couple of the ecnl girls there, but I saw U13's as well. I spoke with a parent and it appears to be a hodgepodge of girls that were available, getting some touches. My dd hasn't played the thusc team so I'm not sure what's going on there. Nemesis was just proving they are aholes. Nothing new. The score was 3 -1 (vs. fcp) and we were missing some girls but the match was closer then result, should have been 1 or 2 - 0 imho.

Thought OYSA teams were dominant? Seems to me that over half the brackets on the girls side at Lake O have been won by an OPL team...

That THUSC Silver G '00 team was essentially a 'b' team last year. So Nemesis beat up and had their way with a 'b' team that has been asked to move up the food chain and fulfill most of the 'original' Silver's paid tourney entrance fees and commitments. The 'old/original' Silver team is now the THUSC/Crossfire U-14 ECNL team, the 'new/current' Silver team was last year's 'b' team, previously known as "Rhodium" and the 'new' Rhodium is essentially rec players and players completely new to club soccer. Very watered down. They should have changed or altered the names because these teams ARE NOT the previous teams---at all.

You're so full of it. OPL has just as many teams in semi's and finals in all of the summer tournament results that I see. I see THUSC C team beat up on some OYSA B teams also. So you either aren't paying attention or your just trolling.

Don't worry the TA folks are just getting in the only shots they will be able to get in, and that's very short term, which is how their teams generally roll anyway, short term. Once teams get settled after all of the movement because of ECNL, they won't have any more to talk about.
