Look what ECNL has done to the OPL....

THUSC G'00's who finished second in the OPL last fall lost to fcsc's g'00 B team today....
I guess the talent has been burnt up....OPL will be painful this fall

Only a fool makes this kind of assertion based on a single weekend or game.

True. Just one data point. But it's still telling us something. I'm a little surprised truthfully. But let's wait and see.

I have no idea what happened in this game. But no ENCL team should ever lose to the B team of a local club of the same age group period. You are supposed to be the top talent in the area. Even on a bad day you should still win. It sucks because everyone says "its not about winning" but when you are on an "all portland" team you shouldn't lose to a B team period.

Sadly, you have no idea, like many of the anti-ECNL posters. I suspect the Crossfire United team is playing in WCDA up in Seattle this weekend playing the likes of X-fire, WA, Washington Premiere, and Eastside FC, WA.

Spend some money and buy a clue.

ECNL teams are up north this weekend

My point of this thread was to say that after ECNL takes all of the best players from the OPL teams that you are left with a "B" and "C" level league....

                  Just imagine this....

The OPL could be sending FCSC G '00 B team to NPL National Cup next summer.
That is painful to even read

You have no idea how many players gravitated to OPL clubs on the girls side this year. The trend will continue despite the Timbers promises and lies.

At my DD's age know of at least 2 full teams worth of girls that moved from top OYSA clubs to top OPL clubs. The migration is real.

Wow, what a bunch of crazy assumptions posted in this board. Here are the facts. The THUSC Silver team from this tournament and from this point forward is essentially Rhodium under the new Silver name along with 3 or so Old Silver players who did not make the ECNL team. The ECNL Team did play this weekend, but played up in the United Cup's U15G bracket (not up north) for practice as a team is what I was told. It looks like they are playing zirconium this afternoon in the "final".

Silver is not the old Rhodium. There are several players from that team. Several Rhodium players are now on FC Portland's ECNL team....

and just think how many will come back next year when they realize the lies and deceit the OPL has spread about ECNL
