Vote for a new club for Clark County

Interest poll to see how many people would support a new club in Clark County. I am in favor of a new club coming into Clark County. I would love to see Crossfire branch into Vancouver area.

        Competition is good.

Don't take the negative/nasty posts to heart. They come from 1) those that want to protect their own interests (I.e. W-t-f-cronies living off their profitable bottom line) or 2) those who have lived with mediocrity for so long that they don't know anything else.

Not a new club but an established club coming in would not be bad.

Agree and those parents who like change contacting a club like crossfire to show support for them to look at coming into Clark County is a good thing.

The only way for this to happen is for some new blood on the county's park board . A sports complex like the one in Medford would do well in this area and attract top sport clubs for all athletics.

Start by having Crossfire talk to FCSC who already has some fields tied up for practice and although only 1 or 2 good teams with girls. Give the Vancouver kids a chance to practice in Vancouver but build regional tournament teams between ages u11 to u14 by having all the players from smaller clubs try out for tournament team. Gives younger players 2 layers a local team and a chance to make regional tournament teams. Timbers can't offer that as the clubs don't work together. Bring some new coaches over from Portland to work with teams which means fresh ideas and faces. Change out FCSC leadership. Younger players would pick this over Timbers. It's a start.

What Vancouver needs is one less club - WT_FC.

That club already exists. They do business as Washington Timbers FC.

Crossfire can't move into Clark county without upsetting the applecart within the RCL. Even though they are horrible as a club, WT_FC is still the RCL club in the region and is protected from competition from other RCL clubs. It would need to be a US Club Soccer aligned club branching out into Clark county and the only one that isn't in some way tied to Crossfire is FC Portland. Now an FC Portland Northeast replacing FC Salmon Creek would be an interesting prospect...

Yup. The same club that regularly beats your kids team, develops more players, and is much more respected than your kids club.

Drink much of Sunny's kool-aid this morning. If you honestly believe that, you need help.
