I would point out that u13 parents are not used to paying $6,000 for soccer. The parents of older traveling teams understand the landscape of competitive soccer.

Why not wait until the tryouts are over? What will you say when you are proven wrong?

I'll go slow so you can follow. Low turnout for the 14's is not a predictor for turnout at the older ages because a majority of parents and players on competitive teams at higher ages are used to spending $5,000+ for travel. Therefore players who have demonstrated a satisfaction with their coaching and club are more likely to accept the challenge of ECNL.

The fact that you cant process the value of starting with two teams destroys all your credibility.

But at many age, both teams stink. So what's your point? 2+2=1?

Plus you really dealt a blow to "Tom's ego" with that statement. Tom figured that as long as his name is attached the people will turn out. But according to you, cost is more important. Better not let Tom know who you are or he will ostracize you and your dd out of the club.
