The Timbers girls improved the Nemesis team in a couple of starting spots and the rest provided better bench depth than the team had last year.

Name one coach who isn't recruiting players for their top teams? Then, we can know what coach to stay away from since that should be part of their job. Train and develop the talent you have while working to bring in better players in prior to tryouts. It is naive to think otherwise.

While TA does recruit players and does add players to the team mid year and even adds players to tournament rosters he has to my knowledge never added four players or even three to a team in a winner take all tournament. Not only would this disrupt the chemistry of the team it sends wrong message to the existing team.

I "get" that this is allowed and many teams take advantage of the rule to improve their teams but please do not try to say bringing in ringers for a tournament is a reflection of coaching abilities.

Coaches like that and the new thorns academy coach just recruit and don't bother developing. It's horrible and they shouldn't be coaching.
