This has the regional camp rosters from Oregon. Boys and Girls. 97-00.
Interesting...three of those "unqualified" Crossfire United ECNL coaches are Portland Timbers ODP girls coaches as well. One was even voted coach of the year for 2013.

what's also interesting is those coaches must think ODP is worthwhile

And it's the ECNL folks that are telling everyone that ODP is so terrible. Interesting, you are calling your own coaches terrible.
can someone explain how the younger ages work? Why are there only a few (not a full roster) of 01 girls?
What do you mean? The younger the age group, in general, the more players on the roster. As to who made the roster, it was just the players who they wanted to take. You don't have to take a full squad. It's only those that they wanted to move on.

You should notice that most age groups, boys or girls, do not have a full roster. Supposedly, they only take the players that truly deserve to make Regional camp, even if it's less than a full roster. The surprising thing to me is that they kept so many at the '00 and '01 boys. I don't think I have ever seen them take more than 18 to regional camp.
I personally like the old format, where they take the top 18 from each age group, and then get to play a tournament representing the state at region camp. Of course it's nice to train with a mix from all states, but the players got that in training sessions and the 'invite' games.

You miss understand our position. It's not that ODP is worthless it's just not either what it used to be OR on par with ECNL. We are happy our coaches are valued AND can get another paycheck!

ODP teams are better than what ECNL is shaping up to be... Head to head would be ugly.
