OK, I will admit that there has been trash talking on both sides. But I really really really wish I could find out who this piece of **** is that keeps talking about what other people spend their money on. Do you TA people really support this dirt bag who talks nothing about soccer but sits here like a big commie socialist and cries and whines about the fact that ECNL is here and it's wrong, it's wrong, because it costs so much?? Who cares, it's advancing soccer in oregon, whether you can afford it or not. I bet if ECNL was given to a TA club, he'd be all in support of it, hell I'm not even OYSA/TA and I would be supportive of it. I just wish I could expose who this commie jerk is. Worried about other peoples money, what a punk.

I know who it is and you would be surprised to know that this person is OPL and even has a kid in the CO organization. But he doesn't buy smoke and mirrors and crap put out by a crummy leadership. Oregon ECNLs future is being shaped, in part, by a person who he wouldn't trust to run a four hour shift at a car wash. This person totally buys into ECNL and is fully aware of the benefits. But is also highly skeptical of some of the leadership, amongst other things, here in Oregon and their ability to deliver these benefits. And isn't willing to just throw dollars toward these folks just because the only for sure benefits are that there will be improved competition. A poor product on the field won't necessarily lead to improved college exposure. I will pass along your concerns however and request that they stop posting.

I think a lot of people know who he is. His daughter plays for an OPL team. If it's who I think it is, he definitely doesn't fit the "commie" label. I'd say he is more along the lines of a capitalist conservative.

Why do you care? I think there is a lot of concern on both sides of the isle that costs will be a lot higher than advertised. That doesn't seem like an inherently negative thing.

I doubt it is even a parent posting all the BS and misinformation against the ECNL clubs. There is little chance it is from an OPL parent. It is most likely someone from WST. They have been caught posting lies on this forum before and it wouldn't be surprising if it's them again.

Actually it is true there is a parent who has a kid on a crossfire team that has been anti- OPL from the start. He just never moved his player because it was close and the kid had friends. I do not know if it is him posting this stuff or not, but anyone that knows him knows these are the kinds of things he would post.

There may be an angry parent who might post like this at Crossfire but WST has a long history of this kind of bad behavior and motive to attack the ECNL.

Honestly I don't see anything that is really out there. I think there are questions as to the actual cost of ECNL, which seem like legit questions. The really obnoxious guy is the one that responds to him in an over the top way. It is reflecting poorly on the ECNL program when this guy/woman gets all huffed up. Just ignore and let it go. The truth will develop over time and information will get out.
