No! It's not weird at all. Parents should be tightly involved in their kids sports activities if they want to feel special and part of the success. It's not different than video taping neighbor....uh...nevermind.

Stop it. My dd is not terrible. Shes a gifted athlete just like her parents were 19 years ago - both all state high school athletes and could've played in college if they wanted to.

No joke, it's $10k and you play really poor teams. ECNL in Portland has some explaining to do.

We are really disappointed in ECNL but they are hoping to get better. It will take a few years to get the ship righted. Be patient. It well under $10,000 per year if you don't travel with your kid.

Highly competitive league. Step above ECNL I'm sure. Maybe even better than NWSL.

Within a few years, you will have all of the top girls playing ECNL and they will displace many of the talentless players who currently occupy spots.

I don't know I think there is a lot of opportunity to create great options for talented girls that doesn't cost so much. I can absorb the 7000-9000 cost but I know a lot if people can't. Lots of activity happening now that could change the landscape over next few years.
