Trying to read between the lines it appears the turnout for ECNL tryouts was way low…Both CU and FC seem to have put all their markers on this gamble.

If ECNL falls apart what will it mean for these clubs.

You are a fool if you think the costs are any different. The travel costs are the same for every team. It's true that Crossfire corporate support cuts about $800 off the player expense but your $2,000 dollar claim is JUST more SHAMLESS LYING!

Why do you even care?? Is your dd on an ECNL team?? probably not, so no one cares about your scare tactics. As I said before, ECNL is here to stay, you can spread your bs about it all you want, it's not going anywhere.

And how would you know who and where all of the best players are going? Do you stalk girls or something?? No one care about your opinion. If your not part of it then butt out and concentrate on your own business. ECNL is obviously not for you, I don't know if your dd just isn't at that level or if your just one of those TA kool aid drinkers, but no one cares about your opinion.

What are you talking about. The tryouts were just recent and no one is reporting any huge movement. The tryouts for the older kids are still a couple of months away. And there are already players at the ECNL clubs at the older ages who are moving away because they don't want to do ECNL. It's a nice fantasy land you live in there, but don't come on here and try to blow smoke.

Of course there are going to be girls from THUSC/Crossfire and FC Portland "A" teams that choose not to do ECNL. Some will even try out and not make the ECNL team. Some players move. Some players don't make a team. Sounds like youth soccer. Players leaving a team at any age group is not exactly a news flash.

I would actually see that as quite shocking news. We have been led to believe ECNL is the youth girls promised land...that it is what everyone seeks. As hard as others have been selling this, TA has been the most aggressive sales person, so the mere idea that there would be THUSC players that wouldn't tryout is shocking.
