Watching MLS is like watching OYSA games. Much better to go find some good ECNL / OPL games to watch.

Unfortunately, for you, none of those good ECNL games are going to be played by Oregon teams. Maybe when you spend your money to travel to a showcase event you can go to some of the other fields to catch one of those games.

Sorry, parents typically don't travel with ECNL teams. It's too expensive.

Who cares about the Mickey Mouse MLS. Watch the English, Spanish and Italian leagues instead.

Italy? LOL, they are the MLS of Europe, a retirement league for the has been and never were (outside of Juve), full of half empty stadiums and boring matches.

Would do much better to replace Italy with the Bundesliga. In any event for most people that are willing to watch that many matches from multiple leagues, there is no problem including MLS as well. Unless someone just wants to be a eurosnob douche about it.

You can always find better, but the MLS games are fun to watch. So are college games in person. So are OYSA and OPL games in person.

Sure Europe soccer is better, but you can't really head down to your local stadium and watch them.

I was not comparing them directly, I was pointing out that only a eurosnob ********* would put down others for watching MLS, because you know most people that love the game watch BOTH. They are not mutually exclusive.

And oh yeah the main point was that Serie A sucks and the bottom half of their table is worse than MLS. Moreover only a superficial uerosnob douche who does not actually watch those matches would include Serie A but leave out the Bundesliga.

Or maybe the fact that Bayern have turned the Bundesliga into a one horse race with their financial muscle makes it less appealing to some?!

I would rather watch the Milan and Rome derby games over anything the MLS has to offer. Not to mention several other rivalry games from Serie A.

You can't speak for all people and say they should watch MLS if they love the game. Each to their own I guess.

The MLS is a poor product compared to other soccer that is available to watch. I know many Americans who prefer to watch soccer from outside the USA rather than MLS. Just because you love the game doesn't mean you should watch MLS.

No idea what started this thread as it was never clearly stated. I can tell you from experience the man coaching this group of young ladies at U11g for Eastside is a great guy and wouldn't have done anything to hurt a child's feelings. A personal attack on this thread is par for the course but truly wrong.

Anyone that has a clue knows that. This forum is a cesspool of lies, rumors, misinformation, and everything that reflects negative about Oregon/SW Washington soccer.
