Actually at the age group they are targeting, a good majority of the best players are on the Timbers affiliated teams. You put the WT, VT and ET teams together, choose the top players and you will have an outstanding team. As it is, the WT team is better than anything either of the ECNL clubs will be putting out there. I doubt they have to be coddled and as far as losing, I checked their results and they don't. Other than CU at U16 next year, show me a local ECNL team that will have the ability to get into Super Group at Surf.

Now that ECNL is underway in Oregon, the mysterious Thorns Academy teaser is no
longer viable and was probably just a smokescreen.
