Once again, the coaches that run our clubs have failed. FC get ECNL, but now LO and THUSC can enter teams through Crossfire? This will spread out the good players that we do have and all teams, if we do not have the strongest players will get hammered. With the way soccer is here in Oregon, we have to seriously question the stupidity of parents. Can't wait to see the posts when our two run state cups are finished. Let's get real Oregon, we do not have any state cup winners this Year! SO don't come on here and start bragging about it.

Seattle vs Portland
Washington has 3 million more people vs. OR and 2 ECNL clubs. Seattle 1 million more then PDX.
Why do we think OR can support 2 ECNL clubs?
WA: 6.9 million
The United States Census Bureau officially defines the metropolitan area as the Seattle–Tacoma–Bellevue, WA Metropolitan Statistical Area, with an estimated population of 3,500,026, 15th largets in the USA.
OR: 3.9 million
Approximately 2,289,800 people live in the Portland metropolitan area (MSA), the 19th most populous MSA in the United States

If no good clubs teams exist like 00s eastside or salmon creek, because that age group among others will be terrible on ecnl level.
4 don't do it because of the rediculous cost vs value.
2 don't do it becAuse they don't want to be on a mediocre roster of 24 and they are getting better DEVELOPMENT with their own coach and club.
3 don't do it because they don't want to travel to train and discovery spots are going to someone better.
4 are at FC Portland
4 are at thusc
3 will go wherever they think they will look the best in other parents eyes.
You do the math. I would be worried too ecnl campaigners...
That's why they are trying so hard. Its hard to sell crap wrapped in a 8k bow.

You do realize there are more then just one age group for ECNL. oh, there is such a thing as spell check. It's cool to make arguments for or against something in an effort to persuade people, but at least try to make them coherent.
