So Portland ECNL teams won't be in the top group but rather the 2nd or 3rd tier?

If we pay extra can we get in one of the top two groups?

Maybe you should do your homework because the score was 7-1 Onyx, Gotsoccer is score is wrong

GotSoccer also has Onyx losing to Sherwood 4-0

Your manager is responsible for ensuring Gotsoccer is correct. Maybe your manager is subpar. Maybe you should get on your manager and tell them to email Gotsoccer and ensure the data is correct. It isn't really that difficult. Or maybe your manager isn't really on top of things. Should be perfect for ECNL.

Ok. Make it $12,000 and you're good to go. And the teams still won't be any better and the offers will still be the same. But it's your money.

We are paying top dollar, Land Rover money, for ECNL so we better be getting the elite league. If not and we are in the B league, heads are going to roll. So you better figure it out fast.

The last few posts on this tread are rehashing tired arguements. The soccer world in oregon has changed for the better. People need to grasp this fact. If you want the status quo, please try to keep your DD's team together and hope they get into the surf cup a couple of years running. If not, enjoy the fade into darkness.

They will do the best they can with their split of the talent. With two ECNL teams and the Thorns Academy it will be hard to get a concentration of talent. No guarantees any will not lose.

This is funny how worked up you get. Manager during this time is no longer with the club. Having an incorrect score on GotSoccer means nothing especially since the score was posted correctly by US Club and Onyx rcvd their points for winning the tournament. It is crazy that you take the time to look into the details of another's teams record as closely as you did. Creeper!

Thorns Academy is a non-factor. 1 team vs 10 teams for ECNL. Not even a blip on the radar.

That's what the rest of ECNL is saying about Oregon ECNL, not even a blip on the radar. Time to play the subs, easy win.

And what would they say about the Thorns Academy team? "Ooh, can't wait to play a team that can't even beat a year younger ECNL team..."

Funny how ONYX parents cling to a tie that happened two years ago against a team playing their first game ever. So funny. ONYX keeps thinking that they are so tough out of state yet those last two/three out of state tournaments haven't done much for them. Oh yeah, ECNL will be a cake walk for them. Sure.

Onyx has done well out of state in their last several tournaments. Let's see: another NWCL title in which 2 ECNL teams participated, final Four showcase went 1,1,1 and only loss was 1-0 to the #1 team in the country (Gotsoccer ranking). Players Showcase won 2, tied 1, and lost to the the team that won. Semi finalist at Surf. Not a bad record for as you put it -- "Onyx can't do anything outside of the state"

ECNL will be a tough challenge and looking forward to it

I think the CU U14 team went to Seattle for WCDA? How did they do?
