After all these years of FC THUSC AND LO applying for ECNL spots and being denied... and now low and behold... Oregon is worthy of not just one but two ECNL spots!!!!!

It is really easy to figure out why.... a turf war between US Club and USYSA... It is easy to see why two ECNL spots were given.... it not because we deserve it or we have the talent pool to compete (which we don't sorry to inform everyone).... it is very simple.... US Club wants to stick it to the Timbers because of OPL.

Very simple.... now go buy the ENCL used car... it is simply a clunker with a new paint job... nothing has changed except the cost... same coaches, same facilities, etc... the lemmings will follow and fall off the cliff.. this is not a good day for girls soccer it is a sad day..

Not to mention that the used car salesman or woman will not tell you about the substitution rule or your daughter inability to play high school soccer and he hidden cost.

I guess we should congratulate the Timbers on bringing the ECNL to Portland. If it wasn't for their asinine attempts ruin youth soccer for all of us, our best girls may never have been given this great opportunity.

as for the substitution rule you can only be subbed once per half but as many as you want to sub. so yea if your not one of the key players or starters it will make for a very long and expensive season.

There are also minimum games players must start. You should read up on the rules before making stupid posts.

The reality is that it's clear the biggest thing holding soccer back in Oregon is the clubs and the Timbers. Something good happens and an army of people come out to attack, spread misinformation, and tear down. Clubs are scared and it's shameful.
