She must be the one who makes the official announcement, which as of yet, hasn't occurred. So feel free to contact her so that she can say Oregon has not been accepted until an official announcement occurs and as of yet, ECNL has issued no official announcment. That right there tells you things are sold yet.

What ECNL in Portland. There's the announcement. Thorn academy is dead before starting.

ECNL is now present as an option on both the websites for FC PDX & Crossfire OR/THUSC.

Still waiting to actually see something substantive from the THORNS ACADEMY. I heard they are only going to have a U16/U17 team if they have one at all.

If players start at U14 with one of the ECNL clubs why would they leave for the Thorns? Likely only going to get ECNL leftovers at the older age groups looking into the Thorns.

If the Timbers/Thorns want to compete they are going to have to step their game up and expand this, as for now, hypothetical program. One team ain't gonna get it done, son.
