Came out in an email to all current state ODP players from EL. Certainly link to follow but not posted yet. If you know someone on ODP state team maybe they will forward it to you.

Basically just a rebranding of ODP to "Thorns Academy". Same deal, different name, higher prices...

Particularly if your DD is not going to make the squad. That's what I would say too. It's understandable.

Sounds like they will make a Thorns PDL team and eventually a U23 WPSL team. will train with the Thorns WPSL team. If costs are subsidized by the Timbers sounds good (no, great) to me.

Starting to mirror boys side which is a good thing. ODP would then serve as the 'pre-academy'.... Just like boys side.

You mean if the Timbers make OYSA fees subsidize the Thorns, they will keep costs down. They certainly don't subsidize the costs for ODP.

And don't for boys either. The costs are subsidized at the academy level. But at least on boys ODP side the product is higher quality because most of the talent chooses to do it because it leads to the academy. The same may become true for the ladies too. I actually think it will happen but might take a couple years. Sort of need to flush out stale mindset and older players who have relied on other means to date.
