    TRYOUTS! One more year?

State Cup(s) are approaching and thus bring to a close another crazy year in NW competitive soccer. With tryouts just weeks away, tell me, how was your kids year? Will you sign him/her up again? Go for another ride on the roller coaster? If so why? If not, do tell?

Will never take another ride on the Timbers bandwagon rollercoaster. Leaving those politics.

It is up to my child.
We will sit down after State Cup is over and discuss it. Doesn't matter what I want, she is the one playing, so it is up to her.

My DD is happy with her team and coach but no one is happy with the split and confused/concerned. She has friends at another club that are talking about quitting and playing rec. A couple on her team are quitting, not sure about others which is normal there is always changes and movement in a normal year. I don't think it will be much different this year. Usually you lose a couple and pick up a couple from other clubs. Will wait until tryouts to decide.

Lots of options this year at some ages as OPL has tryouts first, followed by OYSA, followed by Vancouver teams. Hit 3 tryouts easily if you really want to...

All players win and some lose too. I think my sons team is best. It plays good ball and runs good. If my team plays your team we would win. Strong boys make for good strong team. Best training for to swim, run up hill with heavy bag and hold breath for to long time. Builds strong lunngs and legs and makes for to have good soccer team. I like to run and sing and say good golly the miss molly fun time too. Yes?

My league was not very competitive in my opinion. Only a couple teams worth playing. Not sure my kid is getting the best development in a weaker league. Not sure what we will do.

My kid is voluntarily moving to the B team because the coach and training are better, the costs are less and they played the exact same mediocre competition after the split. The split is a total cluster****.

Maybe you should leave the OPL

And join the Timbers lemming crowd? Not a chance. I want my kid to play soccer, not bootball.
