Where is this mysterious professional level of coaches and organization coming from? WST, EST, [insertnamehere]Timbers... they are all the same clubs with the same coaches, same systems, same development. Nothing changes. It is the SAME few people continuing to manipulate soccer in Portland. The SAME people who led the charge out of the OPL are now leading the charge back to OYSA. There were a lot of people in the room when GW made it clear to everyone he wanted more money from the OPL. This is no secret. This is a of control and limiting what clubs can do. It would nice if someone from the OPL would publish the contract they had so people could read it on their own. I guess they don't because they don't want to look foolish for signing it in the first place.

Keep claiming what the timbers bring. It's just a lot of rhetoric. Everyone will find out soon enough.

This is a pretty common expression. You might want to avoid making this assumption. It would narrow your search though.

Maybe this receives so much press because parents weren't involved in any of these decisions. Clubs, with whom we trust to develop our kids, chose to be political and greedy and stop our kids from playing all of the best competition. Very disappointing.

Now that Winter is over and Spring soccer is winding up too, how is it going? Are you happy with the level of competition in the OPL? In the OYSA? Do you think your club will stay put for the fall or make a change?

Are you high? Not sure what sex/age group you are referring to but seems like there are many blowouts of 10-0,11-0, 15-0 in many age groups. Even nonTimbers teams winning by large margins that would suggest that in fact many games are "super easy". You must be a delusional minion of the Timbers borg.
