My understanding is that the table with scores on there are just part of the basic scheduling software that keeps track of the teams and schedules, because it is built for all age groups, where scores matter. However, no one would be stupid enough to actually keep track of and let alone give a crap about scores and standings of 7-9 year olds.
My understanding also. I have had two older kids go through the Southside and PDX development leagues and they have never posted scores to my knowledge. I also have my youngest playing in them now and Southside did not post any scores in the fall either.
One quick observation on these younger age groups, while we have a thread about it; There is some serious talent and across the board there seems to more emphasis on ball skills and creativity, as opposed to the hard running and thuggery I am accustomed to.
I know a lot of clubs have started taking younger age groups and talked more about development and academy models. I have always taken it with a grain of salt, but it appears they may have put some money where their mouth is for once. Just my opinion.
