One team does not a girls program make

Get back to us when WST develops more than ONE girls team every 10 years. Yes the Copa U16 girls are good and but that hardly makes WSTa logical choice for a top female player to hang her cleats!

There are already a number of D1 offers to them. Three at least. And they weren't by their own coach.

            semi finalist is not winning.

I can be absolute certain the the WST U16 Girls team has never won the Surf Super Group. Just looked it up - 1 tie and 2 losses.

I also highly doubt they won the top bracket at the Players Showcase. You did win the the bracket at Players you were placed in by beating the C team from Surf, Heat FC's B team, and the #3 team in Utah

Please just get over your hatred…you asked for their results outside of Oregon, and this is actually a pretty impressive list…They don't come on here and brag up a storm the way some other teams do, but they have put together enough successes to be respected.

Surf super is no joke and just competing in it is an accomplishment in itself. That said, the list is t very long. It's nothing compared to other clubs and what they do every year in multiple age groups.

                  WST has one good team.

WST has one great team, in comparison to other OR girls teams, and 3 good teams (u11 TS, U13 TS, and U15)
                    THUSC has one great team (U15) and 4 good teams (u11, 12, 14, 18)
Crossfire (only high school aged teams) has 4 good teams (15, 16, 17, and 18)
                    FC has 2 great teams (u17 and u12) and 5 good teams (11, 13, 14, 15, 18)

I still agree that WST is the weaker by a decent margin, but they ain't bad. FC still the strongest, then THUSC, then Crossfire, then WST.

You completely lose credibility when you say FC's u13 is a good team. They should have been relegated at the end of the fall season. FC's u12 is good but not great.

Ok, mistake. I saw the 13s play last season and they were a strong team with some talented players. I haven't seen them this year. I'll own that.

Their 12s are becoming a great team, maybe not quite yet, but they're right there. There are still 2-3 teams right around their level, but I'm interested to see them play after their trip to Russia.

Get past these 2 teams. The point is, there is no absolute great girls club. All 4 can offer a good product. Some of the clubs can offer it more consistently. That's my point.

There are a lot of good u12 teams and players. FC is the most consistent but they don't stand out.
