So do all the older girls teams. A ton more than normal kick & chase ball went on at all theState Cup finals weekend in both OPL & OYSA.

I agree, they should be congratulated. Clark county rec clubs usually perform well statewide. If you look at founders cup there are always fcsc and vantucky timbers teams competing well. We have some great rec teams that compete statewide.

they're really *select* teams, not the *au natural* recreational team.

It was bound to happen. The changes made to the club are real and now they have a DOC that doesn't do BS or politics. Probably the most transparent DOC in pdx. I can see why they would move to there. Kudos to pacific FC coaches for doing what is right for soccer in Clark county.

Sadness. One can only hope ***C gives this team support. I enjoyed watching my dd play against then in OPL. Does this mean they play in OYSA at 9v9?

Weird weird post. Sadness? You are sad somehow and your 'DD' played against them. Your post doesn't add up... You would not be sad nor care at all if your DD played against them in OPL.

Really? Is it so far-fetched that I can appreciate how playing this team made my dd's team better? Is this forum so jaded that I cannot even act like a fan and respect the kind of game they played? I have seen ***C mess up a lot of things over the past few years - I was hoping this team isn't another in a long line.

Yes it's very bizarre especially given that Pacific has messed up every team that has ever been there. Don't be so sad.
