I have no problem with others wanting to link my posts to one another.

Ive been registered, but got so sick and tired of others calling out our club, it's players and administration, I choose now to remain behind the scenes.

I guess others have thicker skin

I totally agree, I was also registered, but got sick of more people trying to figure out who I was then respond to my questions. It is unfortunate but there are folks on this forum who think they can make judgements about people from one post.

I will continue to follow and participate anonymously.

Would it not be possible and worthwhile to have a sub forum for Oregon that requires registration, which would then allow us to see if the theory that it would provide more civil and constructive discourse actually holds true?

The one thing we know for sure is that as things stand now it is a cesspool.

I disagree strongly. I think you wind up with a very small number of users on this forum because most mature people won't get involved.

This was I believe the point above about having two forums, or a sub forum. It does not need to be an either/or situation. We could have one for registered users to try and have adult discussions and keep the current angry old dog, eye poking with stick set up, no?
