If a player wants to leave the Timber Academy, can they say that they will not release him unless he reimburses them for travel costs?

I actually had no idea any of the costs for the academy since I dont have a boy that age. But I'll be honest when I went and looked at the costs, what a freaking great deal. 500.00 dollars for the 10 month season and the timbers pay for all the airfare and hotels for the boys when they travel. Man thats a heck of a deal, and is cheaper than if they played for any of the clubs around here.
I hope the thorns do the same type of program and around the same cost.

right now talks for travel are limited...I would consider the travel as local...this is the first year plan....starting simple with less travel....2015 will see some travel to east coast.
the goal by 2017 is to have MLS boys/girls traveling international one trip
there are 4 major MLS College Showcases being put together right now....
GU14/GU16/GU18 Showcases:
Jeldwen Field
Portland Oregon
August 2014
Rio Tinto Stadium
Salt Lake UT
Sept 2014
Toyota Stadium
October 2014
Dallas TX
Stubhub Center
Los Angeles
Feb 2015

East Coasters
The east coast MLS know that the women's pro league will soon fold. How do they know that, because no one went to the games, with the exception of Portland.
