      Empathy & Compassion

So when your friends describe you to others do they ever include the words empathetic or compassionate or generous?

I don't care what league we play in. Some people on this board seem to think that their club is somehow going to be better in OYSA. I'm just saying to the one or two people that are the OYSA drone cheerleaders, you may have some kind of small victory (whatever that gets you) if everyone jumps to OYSA. But it will soon be back to normal and his little club will be losing all the same, whether it be OYSA or OPL, it won't change your team to the better, it will all be the same. Same clubs whooping up on the same clubs that get whooped on.

One more time. It's not that OYSA is better it's that the SPLIT is bad. Now that OYSA seems to have won the numbers war why should the OPC fight a losing Quality battle. After one "season" playing your other brother Daryl four times the reality of standing outside looking in will become clear for you and the other holdouts.

Lastly, it's not about my player's team it's about ALL the teams and ALL the kids. But of course in your world it's just about YOU and YOUR player.

Why do the other clubs in OPL need to jump in right now?? It would seem to me there is plenty of time for that.

Do any of the OPL teams get to play in NWCL? If not, then they don't have much to offer in terms of playing good teams, other than going to out of town tournaments. WT and ET are both playing in FWRL in addition to playing in OYSA. Sure, OYSA may not be great, but it's a lot better than what's left in OPL.

Better grab a dictionary and do some reading because that action is not in keeping with the MEANINGS of those words. But hey keep telling yourself that you are.

Now the Tea Party wants a say in how classic soccer operates?! So only the elite, privileged, and top 1% academically should be rewarded for their way to college. Otherwise, in your mind, anyone else is simply looking for a handout.

Perhaps families or single parents or other guardians who come out of the middle or lower economic classes cannot afford to send their kid(s) to college without financial assistance. When a child applies him/herself in school and in athletics, enough for a college to take notice, and would not be able to go to the college without financial aid (private scholarships, federal grants) and low-interest loans, then who are you to judge and determine that they are looking for handouts?

If you are going to say that you don't want your tax dollars to benefit someone else, then perhaps you are living in the wrong country. If you don't want any portion of player registration fees to go towards financial aid for your club, then do more to help with fundraisers and write some grants so that all players can have lower fees. Else I suggest starting your own club.

Don't assume that others foot the bill for FA players to travel to showcase. Not the case for every team, every club. Create your own club if you don't like the others.
