    Wow

I just can't get enough of the desperate OYSA. I think it is telling that those clubs staying in the OPL seem very happy to do so, while the OYSA clubs seem very upset everyone didn't jump over to OYSA.

The OPL clubs seems quite happy to let the Timbers Allience clubs go their own direction

    Hmmm very interesting !

So how many non-TA clubs are in the OYSA? Answer: More than there are TA clubs?

How many non-OPL clubs are there in the OPL?

The only people "upset" are the RATIONAL thinking among the soccer community who see the existence of two leagues as FOLLY that unnecessarily punishes the kids and sets Oregon soccer back.

I'm so glad my kid only gets to play 1 or 2 other decent teams all season. League play doesn't matter for her U11 development. I've heard that colleges only care about tournaments and my kid is playing for her D1 full ride, she doesn't care about playing challenging games and having fun. Besides, she hated playing those other OPL teams in the Fall who switched to OYSA so she's so glad her team isn't going to join them in OYSA - basically that would make it like the same league as before and that would be horrible. No way is she going to travel to Bend/Eugene once a season - that's totally unacceptable! We're going to go play in tournaments in Seattle against 2nd tier Seattle area teams instead. This is going to be so awesome. Our club is simply going to get stronger. In fact, I think Opl/Opc should've kicked out those 70% of teams who switched to Oysa anyway because it makes Opl way stronger! In fact, if any of them want to come back to the Opl, I'm certain they won't be allowed because the OPL is way better off without all of those losers.

TS assimilation to WST was a failure. TS didn't have any boys teams in the NPL last fall. The rankings for the girls teams were U11-2nd, U12-8th, U13-5th. There was not a U14 girls team. The entire U14 girl's team left when the TS DOC took over. WST has a history of good boy's teams. They should can the TS DOC and run the program directly.

They have that whacko Sherwood HS coach that is all about results. The dude has own lots of state championships without his teams completing more than 10 passes per game....I'd like to see him develop some sort of cirriculum for his club, I'm sure it would be comical

I may be a dumb broad and know nothing about soccer but its my strong believe that my dd's team will be much better off playing in my backyard I am so tired of those professionals and in particular timbers telling me what to do in regard to my daughter. if you're anything like me you're also tired of what your pediatrician tells you to do. they are just know it alls everywhere. I think dandelion tea is the way to go. when are girls play in my backyard, I have plenty of dandelions and it could be a good source of protein and health prevention for them to pick. to be honest, I'm just tired of anyone with an opinion except my own. I think intelligence is overrated and anyone with a logical thought should be ignored. has anyone seen or read about Jesus playing soccer in the Bible for those of oysa people. I say throw the lot out. we can spend much more time collecting dandelions and reading the wonderful wisdom tales in the good book

It will be interesting to see how a 5A power translates when thrown into the 6A lions den of the former TRL plus Tigard, Tualatin and Newberg.

He won 2 State Titles in 20+ years at Sherwood. Resigned after 2012 Season. Now coaches girls in th T/S WST girls younger ages. Do.not believe he is interested or either is the WST in having run the younger girls program. You need not worry.
