The Timbers invited themselves into youth soccer. If they didn't want the parent heat they should have stayed MLS

Careful what you wish for Timbers. A lot of Portlandia is hoping you lose tonight, or worse yet don't care.

The clubs referenced above Crossfire, THUSC and FC Portland have done a great job putting players into college and have many long time coaches.

OYSA is afraid. They know there is going to be a lot of white vs red this winter. Coupled with the fact that the DA teams are struggling. The Timbers best first job is MLS, and they should have kept it that way.
I can hardly wait for this winter schedule to come out. Oysa is not afraid. It's in the catbirds seat. It's only a matter of time for OPL. It can be quick or it can be a slow death. You choose, but trust me, oysa is not afraid.

Omg you are a gigantic baby. Get on your couch, turn on the game and cheer for our Timbers. If you want to sit on the sidelines by yourself and cry, be my guest. But I welcome you back. Now get over here and cheer with the rest of us. Go Timbers!

Wow, Timbers made the playoffs this year? Didn't know that.

No interest in soccer unless my kid is playing to be honest.

If they having nothing to fear then why not turn on applied teams lists in Affinity? Maybe because the lists are too short?

Registration deadlines are still two weeks away. OPL and OYSA would both have very short lists right now. Most clubs wait until the last minute, especially this year.

Still not a reason to have the lists turned off.

Interesting comments as another MLS club (LA Galaxy) has created a relationship with youth soccer clubs.

Your bitterness towards the Timbers is odd. If you are angry with GW's influence over everything then you might do better focusing on that argument as opposed to cutting down a team's performance, making it to the Western Conference Final. Two separate agendas.

So what will the Timber haters do when the Thorns actually start a DA program? How will they bring their hate down upon the Thorns?

They are also not a collection of "alliance" clubs either. They are not running youth soccer. They are running an academy.
