In OYSA you will be defined as Timbers Club or a 2nd class club.
OPL clubs or US Club clubs can direct their own future and develop players based on those players need and no the big green machine.

Continuing the split without being able to demonstrate or enumerate clear and identifiable benefits to their members is a disservice to the parents and players of the OPL. When the 800 pound gorilla in the room picks the other league you have to be able to explain the benefits and describe a survival plan.
So far all we get is "they stunk in the past". No clear business plan on how they are going to provide competition that does NOT include even more travel than to Bend, Eugene and Medford.
All the noise about TA/non-TA, travel, etc... is just that - Noise - at this point. travel won't change for the groups unless there's not enough teams to fill the divisions and/or an outlier team and moves up or down a division. Timbers favoritism towards TA clubs is not likely to be significantly affected by which org they are in.
