The OPL could sit and stay quiet while the Timbers and OYSA bash the or they can respond. Doing so is not out of desperation. Rather it make sense. At some point, they had to respond.

This is desperation by Angela because she going to lose her job. A perfect example of why you can question the leadership at OPL.

I could not agree more! Go Sounders! Anyone want my timbers uniform. I will no longer be supporting an organization that is purposely engaging in business practices that are detrimental to my daughter and the rest of the youth in this community. Shame on the Timbers organization. It is however refreshing to see that the OPL is fighting the good fight. They have my full support, as I am sure they have the full support of many other soccer families in this community. Given that an organization like the OPL is only as strong as the parents that support it, I am confident that the OPL will prevail in the end. Just too many good families from too many good clubs. Go OPL!!!

OYSA is a non-profit. It appears that the OYSA is the organization that is not including all youth in this state. It appears that the OYSA is discriminating by excluding players that are not TA members. Theirs your litigation.

There were several meetings. The problem is that GW and the Timbers wan to control soccer and push their TA clubs. They also wanted too much money from youth soccer. Any non-TA club who thinks they will yet equal treatment in the OYSA is kidding themselves.

There were meetings with the OYSA and meetings with the Timbers.

The reality is that the OPL tried to keep soccer unified. The Timbers are intentionally breaking it apart. Their goal is not unified soccer. Their goal is control. They want to direct resources to their DA program and TA clubs.
