Not sure why this thread has devolved into a THUSC girls cat fight. What happened to JC and what is the future of the THUSC boys side?

Neva said anything about the boys side. So yeah do a little research....above!
that's the past. outside of onyx, even the girls side is mediocre at best, probably lower than mediocre if you just look at recent fall league. and you are right, if we add in the boys side and do a comprehensive eval, all bets are off. in that case, thusc is near the bottom. i prefer to look at the current and future than the past when evaluating a club.

Saying dumb things isn't going to make it true. You're just saying dumb things.

What would JC do? I think he has looked how poorly run THUSC is and done a runner. I'm 100% certain it has something to do with TA. There is no one in youth soccer that kids look up to. JC really got the boys at the club to play above their level. It did not always include wining but he really got the boys to do their best. He will be missed that's for sure.

Yeah, they have a history of some girls teams that were good. Only is very good and there currently some o.k. girls teams. The boys side is virtually non-existent. Wasn't J.C. the guy that left FCP with his group of boys?

I believe currently THUSC is the only club to have a girls team U11-U14 in the top 4 of NPL. May not be number 1 but they do consistently have top teams which is more than you can say about your club. Their U13 team was the only team to even tie Nemesis. I'd say they're better than ok. Sodium is definitely better than ok and every U16 girls team in Oregon is just ok.

                      State Cup?

Your statement is demonstrably FALSE but hey your probably a Tea Party supporter for who facts don't matter!
When there are two of them offered ('state cups') in a tiny state like Oregon, (1) the OPL jamboree state cup and (2) the OYSA/USYS State cup/national championship series it follows that there are more state cup championships are available to win each year over the last 5 years. Dilution and apathy in the meaningless OPL jamboree State Cup and little participation in the USYS national cup. Congrats if you did well in these so called state cups.

Also we live in vancouver wa and we travel out of state every weekend and compete more successfully than any Oregon team or club, we are top of the table in the OPL league.

Your statement is not only demonstrably FALSE it's just a twisted myopia of insanity.

THUSC girls are 3rd, 4th, 3rd and 4th across U11-U14 in NPL. Sure, in the mix, but nothing to get excited about. Solid I guess. Nothing to get excited about.

You can always tell who the best clubs and teams are..... They are the ones people can't stop talking about.

Sorry but there is not a Vantucky team that has a record close to Sodium or even Mercury out of state and Onyx has no peer. Not to mention Ireland or NEON. Yes today THUSC is not as strong as the past but the claim was over the past 5 years.

Sodium, mercury and Onyx are still active teams. Three dominant teams. THUSC is the only club with teams in the NPL at all ages. They are middle to the top in all groups as well.

Everyone else has one hit wonders here and there. That's it.

                                Just one question

How many OPL State Cups or even USYS State Cup championships have the T.H.U.S.C Club boys teams won in the last 20 years+?

                                Anyone.
